The stately Hatley Castle – Hatley Park National Historic Site (aka Royal Roads)

The 100-year-old Plaskett Telescope at the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory is located high above Victoria on Observatory Hill.

In 1918, the final piece of the 64-ton telescope was transported by horse and buggy up the gruelling 440-foot elevation to the top of Observation Hill. In June of the same year, the largest operating telescope in the world was in service.

The old DND radio club building on Ocean Boulevard at the end of the bridge over the Esquimal Lagoon. In the distance, we have Road Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse.
