An exposed section of rail from the Wellington Colliery Railway that connected to the No. 4 Mine near Whytes Bay, and further to the north on a trestle over Comox Lake to the Scott’s Slope portal.

The railway ran through Cumberland, Royston, and then on to the coal washing plant and loading pier in Union Bay.
