C-FWCA

Built in Canada by by The De Havilland Aircraft Of Canada, Limited, this 1958 Dehavilland DHC-2 MK. I has an lengthy and interesting history that starts when it was delivered to the United States Army on November 25, 1958. The L-20A Beaver was operated as a STOL utility transport aircraft.

It was imported into Canada in 1975, and registered in Chibougamau, PQ as C-GUBB in August 1976, and operated by Direquair Ltée., and then Air Mistassini until it was deregistered on August 08, 1982.

The Beaver was purchased and sold as an unregistered aircraft by Air Brousse Inc. in Sept Iles, and Letto’s Sales Ltd, in Ance au Clair in Newfoundland. On December 13, 1984, it  was registered as C-FWCA by the Newfoundland Labrador Air Service Ltd., Corner Brook, Newfoundland.
