Cobequid Bay

Cobequid Bay, an inlet of the Bay of Fundy, is the easternmost part of the Minas Basin in Nova Scotia.

The eastern end features the estuary of the Salmon River, while the western end is marked by Burntcoat Head on the southern shore and Five Islands or Economy Mountain on the northern shore1. Burntcoat Head has the highest tidal range in the world, with an average vertical difference of 12.4 meters (41 feet) between low and high tide.
