Another in the series of driving the 101 videos – this version has been edited to replace the sounds of the highway with music; the unedited raw video is below.
With a few exceptions, most sections of Highway 101 are rather nondescript, especially at night. That being said, there are a few areas where lights can be seen, becoming landmarks.
There was a light rain shower, and a substantial amount of smoke from the Long Lake fire in West Dalhousie as we drove along Nova Scotia Highway 1 near Annapolis Royal.

The water level at the Stronach Park duck pond in Greenwood is very low due to the ongoing drought in Nova Scotia.
The ducks are still enjoying the water.


The building that formerly housed the Greenwood Baptist Church is no longer in use as a church, and the congregation has been disbanded.
The church was formerly part of a five-point charge, including the Wilmot Baptist Church. The mother church of this congregation was the Tremont Baptist Church.
