Fort Point Museum

Fort Point Museum National Historic Site

Fort Point, established by Isaac de Razilly in 1632, was the first capital of what was then known as New France. This site is now part of the Fort Point Museum in LaHave, Nova Scotia, where visitors can explore various displays about Acadian history. One unique feature is the opportunity to hold handmade bricks from France, originally used as ballast in ships and later to construct the fort.
