Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby can appear to be pure chaos, and to be fair, sometimes it is, but there is a lot of teamwork and strategy at play.

Roller derby is one of the most gender and age inclusive sports, with men participating in co-ed games and on co-ed teams, and women skating on Men’s Roller Derby Association teams.

What most people refer to as seagulls or sea gulls are actually birds in the scientifically classified family Laridae- the gull and tern” family with more than 35 species in it.

Raucous seagulls at Point Holmes – these birds are hardly ever quiet, but when they have a reason to make some noise they sure do!
Point Holmes is a beautiful section of coastline on Baynes Sound, which in turn is part of Georgia Strait and the Salish Sea. It’s a favorite stop for hungry sea gulls and seals.
