A look at the Alberni Pacific Railway Christmas train to McLean Mill. It was a great experience to ride the train through Port Alberni at night, visit McLean Mill, and ride back into town in the cab of No. 7, a Baldwin 2-8-2.

December 2014 – Three days of almost non-stop torrential rains deposited almost 200 mm of rain, leading to localized flooding in the Comox Valley.
