Three painted and playable pianos were situated across Oak Bay as part of a temporary public art installation. The project was spearheaded by Oak Bay’s Arts Laureate and was planned to last through July and August. Take an artsy amble or ride your bike or take a drive and enjoy the Art of prominent local fine artists.
The three playable, artist painted pianos situated at:
- Oak Bay Ave & Foul Bay Rd: Piano painted by Robert Amos
- Oliver and Beach Drive: Piano painted by Deryk Houston
- Estevan and the Esplanade: Piano painted by Crystal Heath

Four larger installations were situated at:
- Oak Municipal Hall Lawn: Bronze sculptures by Nathan Scott: “The Landing” and “The Old Dog”
- Lansdowne and Beach Drive: Aluminum cutouts by Illarion Gallant: “Bulrushes”
- Oak Bay Marina Parking lot, south side: “Salish Sea” by Chris Paul cutout sculpture in steel
- On an unnamed point on Beach Drive between Turkey Head and the Oak Bay Beach Hotel, you will find a piece of Gracepoint Memorabilia!
