A very cold night at the Confederation Fountain on Menzies Street, across from the British Columbia Parliament Buildings in Victoria, BC.

Ice… –5° Celsius and winds from the northeast at 40. That’s a nasty wind chill.

The wall behind the coat of arms is also a fountain of sorts- the water falls fairly rapidly but smoothly so ice did not form.
