A little gem located just off Superior Street behind the British Colombia Parliament Buildings, near the inner harbour in Victoria, B.C.

I was wondering why this fountain was not coated with ice as it was a bitterly cold night for Victoria, and the fountain on the front lawn of the legislative gardens and the Confederation Garden across the road on Menzies were coated with ice – as was the grass and concrete around them.

The fountain is perhaps better enjoyed in warmer weather but what the heck – I was there and it was beautiful, and I pretty much had it all to mine to explore.
