Air planes and evening light

I just happened to be walking past the Comox Air Force Museum air park and CVAC/YQQ aka the Comox Valley Airport when I noticed the clouds and light and airplanes starting to come alive as the day ended.

Clouds and mountains to the east – it could only get better if an airplane landed, and of course, one did as I know what time airplanes land around here.

Perhaps my favorite image that I shot on this walk, as it has elements of the past, the present, and the future of the Comox Valley.
