Britex

Founded in 1960, as branch of United Elastic Limited based in New York,Britex (BRIdgetown TEXtiles) manufactured elastic textiles used in a large variety of garments produced in other factories. The factory closed in 2004.

Nova Scotia Church – Lawrencetown

Another deconsecrated and empty church – this one in Lawrencetown in the Annapolis Valley. St. Andrew’s Anglican Church is a registered Municipal Heritage Property in the Municipality of Annapolis County, officially registered, August 18th, 1992.
