Towering into the distance

BC Hydro power transmission lines appear to disappear into the mountains as they head toward the Comox Glacier – if not for BC Hydro and forestry, there would be by far fewer recreational areas on Vancouver Island.

Bear trap

Unfortunately these are necessary as bears do become problems when we mess with their habitat. Fortunately the conservation officers do what they can to relocate the bears to a place where humans do not interfere.
