Crescent Beach

Crescent Beach

The roughly two-kilometre tombolo links parts of the LaHave Islands to the mainland, is backed by dunes and salt marsh, and is known for firm, walkable sand that supports long coastal walks, windsurfing and kitesurfing.

Vehicles are permitted on the shore in many areas.

I love spending time at the far end of Crescent Beach, where waves and rocks remind me of the coastal areas of Vancouver Island.
