Each winter California Sea Lions congregate in Fanny Bay while they wait for the herring to spawn in February. The herring fishermen would prefer that the Sea Lions were not eating the herring and salmon, and the Sea Lions would probably be happy if the fishing boats were not there.
The Sea Lions are here to stay…
