You have to expect rain in the winter on the west coast of the west coast, so I was wearing a good rain jacket and was using one of my cameras that would not self destruct if a bit of rain fell on it.
There was a nice rainbow forming as we ran through a bit of rain while heading out of the Alberni Inlet on the Frances Barkley. As we passed through the rain a break in the clouds allowed a beautiful full rainbow to form just astern of us.
