The fishing boat Miss Mall Bay aground in Lunenburg

The 13.5o meter long Miss Mall Bay, ex Miss Mae II was built by in 1974 by Deschamp & Jackson Boatbuilders Ltd. in Shelburne Nova Scotia. She is owned by Merasheen Oyster Farms Inc. – Triton Newfoundland.

Miss Mall Bay ran aground in Lunenburg Harbour after it dragged it’s anchor during a storm that swept through the Maritimes on Wednesday, 03 April 2019. Previously the boat had been stuck on the Lunenburg wave break.
