We’re heading up Trevor Channel toward Bamfield, when the Frances Barkley stops at the southeast end of Tzartus Island– not for pirates or a calamity of some sort, but because we are being approached by a small boat.
The crew of the Frances Barkley proceeded to load some fresh oysters straight from an oyster farm at Sproat Bay, which is across Trevor Channel from Sarita.
And with that, the oyster boat headed back to work and we headed on toward Cape Beale and Bamfield.
