Highway 19

I stopped at the southern of the two bridges where Duncan Bay Main logging road crosses BC Highway 19, and shot some video of the traffic and clouds on an early spring Tuesday.

And a time-lapse version

I could have cropped the heck out of this shot to show just the geese, or I could have walked up closer to get a tighter shot. Walking up closer is not going to happen as it would disturb the birds and that is not right, in my opinion.

Besides, a cropped shot would not tell the story, and a photograph should tell a story, or at least illustrate one…
