A crab out of water

While many crabs head out to stay in the water, some opt to take shelter under rocks or to cover themselves in damp sand while they wait for the tide to come back in.

The video quality is not great as I was using an underwater camera to shoot the crabs doing what crabs do – it’s interesting though.

Little River – across the Strait

Waiting at Little River for the ferry across Georgia Strait to Powell River – there’s no coffee, no gift shop, no vendors offering art, t-shirts or Rogers Victoria Cream chocolates, but there are some wonderful views of Texada and the mainland.
