The Fleet Model 80 Canuck is a Canadian aircraft featuring two seats in side-by-side configuration. The Canuck was designed for the flight training, personal use and light commercial roles. A total of 225 Canucks were built by two manufacturers during its thirteen-year production run, with the majority being built by Fleet Aircraft between 1945 and 1947.

February – the trees and mountains should be covered in a thick layer of snow, yet at Strathcona Provincial Park there are only isolated patches of snow.
February 21 – instead of being packed with skiers, Mt Washington is shut down due to a lack of snow. Warm weather and rain melted the snow pack, and more of the same is expected.
