Salt Water Meets Fresh Water

I’ve seen the location of images almost identical to the one above, given as being in the Middle East, the South Pacific and other such places. While this sounds plausible, the truth is that they are mostly shot where silt laden fresh water from the Frazer River interacts with the salt water of the Salish Sea (Georgia Strait).
