High on the list of things the one can not stop, we find the tide, and marine growth on the bottom of sailboats. The tide can be used to advantage, as shown above where the sailboat is floated in at high tide and then left high and dry at low tide.

The objective is to scrape off the accumulated growth – it’s pretty, but it slows down boats of all types.
