Margaretsville Lighthouse is a 9.7 square, tapered tower clad in white-painted shingles with a bold black horizontal daymark. Perched on a small point jutting into Nova Scotia’s Bay of Fundy, this coastal beacon was built in 1859 and stands as the first lighthouse to occupy the site.
