The Prim Point Lighthouse stands 13.9 meters tall and is constructed from reinforced concrete, featuring an attached fog alarm building. Built in 1964, it is the third lighthouse at this location, designed to mark the narrow passage at Digby Gut. The lighthouse is situated in a wooded area, overlooking the rocky cliffs at the western point of Digby Gut.
On February 12 2015, the lighthouse was recognized under the Heritage Lighthouse Protection Act.
