Looking at the mountains across Georgia Strait from Piper’s Lagoon
Although pretty much all of the southern ocean waters around Vancouver Island were encapsulated under the umbrella of the Salish Sea in July 2010, , it’s still Georgia Strait on charts and in the marine world.
As for the mountains, they are part of the Pacific Ranges of the Coastal Mountains. If I ever remember to take a compass with me I can identify them.
