Looking back to the 2015 fire that engulfed much of British Columbia in a smoke-filled sky and a layer of ash in many areas. I was in Roberts Creek at a campsite and all was fine – the next morning was a different story.
The sky was yellow and orange, and I could not see across Georgia Strait (Salish Sea) from Powell River to Little River on Vancouver Island.
