The old railway bridge about 150 meters off the Lighthouse Route allows users of the Dynamite Trail to cross over the Martins River and Shingle Mill Road.
The Dynamite Trail is a 10km section of a former rail corridor running from Mahone Bay to Martin’s River bridge in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia. The trail is part of the 119 km Rum-Runners trail that runs from Halifax to Lunenburg along the former Halifax & Southwestern Railway line.
