Smoke from the over 145 forest fires burning in British Columbia spread to much of inland and coastal areas, including here on Mayne Island.
These two images show the difference that the wind direction made – they were shot a few hours apart.
The smoke did not stop me from shooting some video, and enjoying one of the Parks Canada red chairs, both when it was smokey and when the skies were clear…
