Magaretsville Falls

I’m not sure if this small waterfall is actually named Magaretsville Falls, but that’s what I am calling it as it is directly below Margaretsville United Church in Margaretsville . The waterfall drops onto the Bay of Fundy shoreline in a section that is named the saddle – just to the east of Margaretsville lighthouse.

The harsh reality of rail on Vancouver Island as shown by the condition of the Esquimalt & Nanaimo right of way – although classified as an active railway, the train truly doesn’t run here anymore, hasn’t for some time, and likely never will again.
