The Nystar Mine in Strathcona Provincial Park
I’m not against mining as long as it is conducted in a responsible manner that protects nature – sadly the track record within British Columbia is dismal and there have been some notable ecological disasters.
Mining within provincial parks is an entirely different matter – there is no plus side to it.
