A nice logging truck on Highway 18
The E&N Highway 18 crossing – just as quiet as the spur a few hundred feet up the line. The Lake Cowichan Subdivision once ran 18.6 miles into the Lake Cowichan area and it was extensively used to haul out logs, until the easy to get at standing timber was all gone.
Now it’s all truck hauling relatively short distances to log sorts.
The train don’t run here anymore
